Your Average Media did a fantastic job of taking our family portrait while we were on vacation at Massanutten Resort. Derrick was able to accommodate our last minute request and met us out at our vacation rental. He arrived right on time and was very patient as everyone was still coordinating their picture outfits. Not only was Derrick incredibly professional and easy to work with, but his artistic suggestions resulted in some of our favorite shots. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I'm pretty affordable and deliver high quality results. I will require part of the total cost before officially shooting (50%) then the other before delivering the images.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I figure out what it is they want to capture specifically. If it is something complex then I will sketch out the idea before executing it on shoot day.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I graduated from Eastern Mennonite University with a degree in Digital Media and a minor in Photography. I've done work for local businesses as well as be featured in a Brooklyn-based art show.
