Brain is a very talented acupuncturist, the most knowledgeable one with whom I have worked. He creates a safe and comfortable environment for his clients, and he provides a very detailed diagnosis of your issues. He has an amazing ability to read your pulse, which he uses to quickly determine what afflicts you and what approach to take. In this way, he provides a very individualized approach to his sessions, rather than relying on generic models of treatment. He has a great knowledge of herbs, which he provides to accelerate your healing process. He also has an ability to read you chakras, and he recommends ways that you can adjust your awareness during your meditation and mindfulness practices or daily activities in order to deepen your connection to yourself. I highly recommend that you work with Brain!

Brian Wah is a great practitioner. He is a caring, and knowledgeable man with a gift for putting me at ease during my visits. The treatments I receive are life-changing and I urge anyone who may be skeptical about acupuncture to give it a try. The healing results will amaze you and I assure that you will not attain the same results from a Western medical doctor or chemically based, toxic drug from a pharmaceutical manufacturer. If you are truly invested in your health and wellness (physical and emotional) you owe it to yourself to explore what acupuncture can do for you. His knowledge and experience is top-notch and his wisdom in herbal remedies is extensive. He is a KIND man and will give you the attention you need that will be tailored to your specific ailments. This review is LONG over due. I can't say enough positive things about Brain at Catch a Fish. He is very professional and caring. While I was going through my IVF journey, I was looking for someone who could understand how important it was to me. When I came across his page and read some personal history he had listed, I knew this was the right place for me to go to. Getting appointments are SUPER easy. He gives suggestions about diet, and herbals. He is also at two different locations. One in Herndon Va, and the other is MD.One the day we did our embryo transfer he did two mini sessions with us. One before the transfer and one after. The rooms are so calming, and you truly can relax. He also reminded me to have a positive attitude during the IVF process even after failed attempts.I am a firm believer of acupuncture and the herbal supplements that they offer. Our transfer worked and we are expecting or little BOY in January.Thank you so much Brain!

When I first became a client, I was suffering with pain that Western medicine was unable to relieve. Within a few sessions, Brian eased my suffering considerably by utilizing his intuition and experience. Through acupuncture treatments, Chinese herbs, individualized nutritional advice, and a calm and inviting environment, Brian has provided me with tremendous support and healing. He truly enjoys what he does. Also, the name of his practice reflects the belief that you can give a man a fish and feed him for a day, or you can teach a man to fish and you can feed him for a lifetime. I can not recommend Brian enough! I started going to Brian a few months ago for infertility, after going to a fertility clinic and taking medications for months. I had many failed cycles, as well as failed IUIs, and my body seemed to be taking a beating from all the hormones and stress of the entire process. I started doing bi weekly/weekly treatments with Brian, and on top of the treatments and herbs, he had me make a few lifestyle changes to bring my body to the state it needed to be in for conceiving. After a few months with Brian, I finally got pregnant naturally without IUI. Brian truly cares about his patients, and he has a passion for his practice. He went above and beyond for me, and I can not thank him enough!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer monthly specials for new patients only. Pricing ranges from $95-$200 depending on what services you need to get well. If pricing is an obstacle we can find someone less expensive in the area.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
New patients will generally start off with a 2 hour intake and first treatment to see how severe your case will be and how long it will take to get you better. We generally get only the worse cases at our clinic. If you have seen 3-5 specialists and tried everything you can think of we are here for you.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Over 20 years of training from the best masters around. We never stop learning to help our patients get better.
