I hired Zurraine Benn ett as my son's karate instructor several years ago. We were with him for approximately 5 years. During that time, not only was Z his instructor, he was a mentor. Zurraine's professionalism is outstanding. He is courteous and even tempered. Nothing riles this man. If you hire Zurraine, you can guarantee is professionalism and his workmanship. I promise, you won't regret working with him.
I would Highly recommend Anthony for any of your fitness and personal training goals. Also he's a highly skilled martial arts instructor. I started Muay Thai training in February of this year with Anthony and my skills have improved tremendously. Previously I went to a chain franchise Kickboxing place and when I started training with Anthony I realized I had been taught so many things incorrectly. If you wany to learn Proper Technique hes your guy! Along with Muay Thi training I completed a 8 weeks glute growth program that I was AMAZING results from! I achieved the definition and growth that I wanted. Lastly this past week I started Jujitsu training with Anthony and it was Great! The most tired over ever felt after a workout. Kickboxing with Brian is really fun! He's a good and efficient teacher and always makes sure that he moves at a pace suited to you and your individual needs. He's also very considerate about content, and takes into account what you want to learn and focus on and structures the lesson around that. And he never wastes any time- if you're just catching a breath, he'll use the time to talk about nutrition and how to eat better. A very fun and helpful learning experience overall! :)
First, what a great guy! I'm a female and always felt comfortable. Brian has so many different ideas and techniques I never get bored. I'm training for a specific event and within 30 days every number improved. I did my cardio on my own and did strength training, core workouts, legs, lifting, etc. I highly recommend.
I have worked with several trainers in the past, and I have achieved the best results working with Joe. He varies each workout with a different routine to keep it fun and to ensure all my fitness goals are met. He pushes me to challenge myself without risking injury. I feel confident in his expertise and have enjoyed working with him for the past couple years.

Both self and my son are trained by him at Master Lee's Martial Arts Taekwondo school of Sterling,VA. We are very happy we met him so he explained and helped a lot to be well-trained and feel much better about many things. Julien is my personal training. I am extremely happy to have him as a trainer. I have actually lost wait and builded muscle within 3 months and learned some self defense moves. He tailors the workout routing base on you strength and ability than progress as your health improves. I'm grateful to have him as a trainer and I'm sure you will be also.
Joshua is a phenomenal teacher and fighter of BJJ, Kickboxing and MMA. He tailors to your specific strengths and weaknesses, so that you get maximum value out of each class. He focuses on technique, fighting concepts, conditioning all the while ensuring you have fun during the process. Learning is everything here and he encourages self-filming or bringing in a partner to train with at no extra charge. The gym in a good shape, with all the necessary equipment and padding you would associate with MMA gyms. Joshua is constantly making improvements to the gym to keep it competitive and in good condition. He has many different types of classes and he is very flexible. It is no wonder why he has such a following, his knowledge and sincerity is rare in this industry.
I would highly recommend Baltimore Martial Arts Academy for many reasons and from a couple different view points. As a student - Gary Berger and his staff are experts instructors not only in martial arts but fitness of both mind and body. I have been in the military for 21 years, have lived all over the world and have never seen a gym with so many different courses of instruction. Such a wide array and blending of talent is hard to find and almost impossible in a single school. Patient and professional - I have found these instructors to look at the individual and tailor classes to student needs and goals. The plethora of instructors is simply amazing. I have 3 Aikido instructors my son has 5 different jujitsu instructors and my daughter has 2 different kickboxing instructors - getting all of there collective strengths and experiences - class never gets boring or routine. As a father - I have two teenagers attending Baltimore Martial Arts Academy and can not imagine a better environment for an extracurricular activity.My Son has attained his black belt in mixed martial arts and is working on belts in both judo and straight jujitsu. He is on the competition team and has competed nationally in numerous grappling and judo competitions - qualifying this year for the judo junior nationals this summer. It has been a great outlet for teenage aggression for both kids and has shown them a positive way to harness energy that would be otherwise wasted. His skills will serve him well in high school as he plays football and wrestles. My Daughter is working on a belt in mixed martial arts and taking kickboxing classes. Not the competitor her brother is I have found the discipline and fitness she is learning will carry on through her entire life. As a father it is good to know that my daughter can defend herself and walks with a confidence that she may otherwise have not found. My children are the most important thing in my life and my greatest legacy - I feel blessed to have found this gym with such a large group of both male and female role models to help me raise my children and instill the values we all find so lacking in the world today. It is refreshing to find a place where integrity, honor, respect and discipline are not only preached but taught, practiced and expected. I have trained with Rick for about 10 years in kickboxing, self defense, and done many of his boot camps. His training is exceptional. I am a soccer player and his workouts have improved every aspect of my game. He has taught me self defense so I feel comfortable and safer in any situation. I have my kids training with Rick as well and they love it. He's very patient, knowledgeable, and always has an answer for all my health and fitness questions. I've been working with Dominick for years, and he's been a great instructor. Very willing to work either with groups or individuals, and well versed in a number of diverse martial arts, he can meet the needs of virtually any student or group. I plan on getting instruction from him whenever I can.
Maguilla is the real deal. Whether you want to get in shape or train for a competition, yo should check this place out. I'm pretty new to BJJ, but I've already done my first tournament, and it was awesome. You can try out a couple of classes for free, and there's no contracts or anything like that with this school. -Brock
Hey All, So I've had the pleasure of training with Andrew for a few short months. We're former co-workers and that's when I learned he was an amateur MMA fighter. He would always talk about the training and would show me a few techniques here and there, so that's when I decided to ask him if he wouldn't mind training me just once or twice a week. I wanted to learn basic boxing and kickboxing, and he was very patient and really broke it down for me. It's also an incredible workout! After I started mastering some of the basics, the workouts would get more intense and I would leave extremely sore. However, I was losing weight, which wasn't my primary focus, but it was a great bonus. He even gave me advice on proper nutrition and dieting, as well as strength and conditioning workouts to do on my own which has allowed me to see continued results. I have 4 children, and I don't feel like I'm killing myself! I even went to one of his fights this year and saw some him use some of the same things he taught me. It's awesome to know that I was learning legitimate techniques that can work in an actual fight. Overall Andrew is a great trainer and person to be around. I would highly recommend working with him Jai Johnson
