Hi, I’m Rachel, the artist behind Locks & Lashes by Rachel. With over 12 years of experience as a licensed hair and makeup artist, I specialize in elevated, on-location beauty for weddings and special events. From soft, romantic glam to full glam artistry, polished updos, blowouts, and Hollywood waves, I create timeless looks tailored to your vision. My approach is calm, organized, and detail-focused so your getting-ready experience feels seamless and luxurious from start to finish. Lynchburg and the surrounding counties are my primary service area. In addition to wedding and event styling, I also offer local hair services including color, haircuts, treatments, and polished blowouts and styling for clients who prefer a more personalized, one-on-one experience. I also welcome destination-style weddings throughout Williamsburg, Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Suffolk, and the greater Hampton Roads region. For weddings located more than two hours from Lynchburg, a minimum of three services is required. Travel fees apply, and overnight accommodations must be provided by the client to ensure I arrive fully prepared and able to give you my complete attention on your wedding day.
