Introduction: Growing up as an athlete since the young age of 4, I have always had a solid interest in fitness and living a healthy lifestyle. Growing up I participated in numerous sports, going on to play football, basketball, baseball, soccer, tennis, and last but not least, boxing at the professional level. I started boxing 20 years ago and was trained by Hall of Fame inductee Sugar Ray Leonard. In high school, I played varsity football all for years and was awarded most valuable player each year.
While in college I suffered a fatal car accident which shattered my pelvis. That is what started my life in not only personal training and nutrition, but physical therapy also. I was told I may not be able to walk again, but through God, strength, and education, I was able to rehab myself back to 100% of full functional movement. I spend most of my time in the gym either training myself, or working with other individuals to reach their highest potential and goals. I’ve trained many fighters, athletes, weightlifters, and individuals who have the desire to improve their body and mind from ages ranging from 6 to 83 years old.
My athletic background, love for staying fit, and desire to help others lead me to my first certification at the age of 17 years old through the national council of certified personal training and to pursue a degree in kinesiology majoring in exercise science. Upon completion I continued my passion in helping people physically and mentally. Since graduation, I have continued to further my education and credentials in order to keep up with new research and further help communities live a healthy lifestyle. I have helped a large number of people lose weight, drop body fat, reduce joint, neck, and back pain. I continue to leave ladies and gentlemen feeling amazing through one on one, and group training sessions as well as nutrition counseling ; however, I am now adding many online training success stories from clients all over the world! I have a passion for helping others and it truly makes me happy to see you reach your fitness/body goals and trusting in the process. The statement “if you love what you do you will never work a day in your life” is very true, as I wake up each day with excitement about who I can help feel great each day!
My philosophy is you have a good days and bad days, but the main thing is to grow mentally. A true champion can adapt and fight through anything. A fighters mentality is what it will take to achieve your fitness goals. I will help you use your hard work and dedication to improve your body and overall well-being.
