Our Fire Department needed a centralized repository of data and Databasix delivered! In just 3 months, Databasix built a custom system from user input to track most all of our daily routines. This includes Personnel data including, name, address, dob, emergency contacts, contact info, specialty team membership, certification/expiration tracking/ticklers, volunteer to work lists, leave requests with email/text approval notifications and much more. Battalion dashboards including staffing and personnel availability of our 14 Facilities, OT and Leave lists readily accessible. Staff phone numbers easily accessible, Leave and OT that is pending approval ticklers and more. Our Fire Fighters can access links to GIS maps from our MDCs along with other links. They have ticklers for certs expiring within 90 days to keep track of that. Our Station Officers have a wealth of information readily available including daily staffing views, certifications expiring for their crews, message boards, leave verification ticklers, shared calendars for company events and more. Specialty Teams have their own dashboards, calendaring, red tag item tracking and more. Fire Chief has his own notification message board to get out important information or daily message. Our Fire IT department is excited to have their own Task Tracking, Inventory module for equipment in the stations and also on apparatus, along with apparatus inventory. this system is the best in the fact that it is accessible from anywhere, including PCs, Macs, Smartphones, iPads, tablets, etc. Battalion Chiefs use their smartphones while on the road for those duties that previously were done by phone or waiting to get back to the office. You can't put a price on efficiency, but we are saving a Fire Boat Load on landing this system. Just heard two days ago from one of our Battalion Chiefs, "I love this system".
