I contacted J & J on the assumption that the drywall in my 50+ years old bathroom, stripped of old wallpaper, was so bad that it needed to be covered with new 1/4" drywall. Instead they said they could save me 50% by "skimming" on a new surface with quick-set plaster finish. They offered a great price, too. Husband and wife showed up when promised, on time, and did the good-sized bath in a day and a half and promised to come back to "cut out" and skim any bubbles after I primed it, at no charge. After priming, no blisters appeared! A great and cost-effective solution, done quickly and well. Highly recommended.
