Request to Install roof on a shed The customer and his friend's built the walls of his shed in two hours. He then ask us for a quote to install the roof with his materials. He agreed to our price and then later wanted us to lower our agreed price. We made a suggestion to have his friends come back to complete the project to save him money. We thought that was a good solution to solve his problem. As a result of our suggestion to save him money the company is accused of being unprofessional and overcharging for a $200.00 job.
They cannot. I would not choose to work with this contractor again. They repaired the wrong item which I specified in my initial request. I will hire a contractor recommended by a personal friend next time v. going through ThumbtackAug 21, 2018VerifiedBordeaux Construction Services LLC's reply
When we originally went onsite to take a look at this job the homeowner pointed out what she wanted repaired. Apparently, there was some confusion about what she thought the Home Owner's Association wanted repaired. We did exactly what we were asked to do and without anything from the Association we had to take the Home Owner's word on what needed to be done. It is our opinion that the verbiage the Association used while communicating with the Home Owner was misunderstood. Therefore, we did complete the repairs we were asked to complete. We have yet to receive any report from the Association on what they wanted done so that we could compare it to what the Homeowner asked us to do.
Lee is awesome! He communicates on every part of the job and makes sure everything gets done when he says it will. Will be using him for more projects to come!Apr 4, 2018Verified
