- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Thumbtack charges our company fees when you reach out to us. These fees are charged even if you decide not to work with our company. In order to continue serving our community through Thumbtack, we have implemented a $95 service charge for our crew to arrive at your potential job site. This service charge is credited towards the cost of any agreed upon work. We understand this may be inconvenient if you are shopping around for quotes and of course free estimates are ideal. We hope you see this service fee as an investment towards your project! We at All-Star believe in the motto “You get what you pay for”, and why wouldn’t you want to pay for an All-Star Product! ⭐️
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first thing we like to do when working with a new client is create a profile. This profile helps us organize and easily access items like contact information, open/closed estimates and invoices, and overdue/completed payments. Once a profile is created, we like to set up a consultation. A consultation consists of an All-Star PRO visiting the proposed jobsite to meet the client in person, take measurements, view the site conditions, and see if we can honestly and professionally provide the client with an All-Star Product. If our All-Star PRO feels that we are unable to provide the service requested, we will absolutely refer a reliable contractor who can!
