Since 1988 Xiaoyan Wang, L.Ac. and MD (China), provides holistic healing using acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, often in combination, according to each patient's individual needs. Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. According to each patient's individual needs, we use traditional Chinese healing methods to treat a wide variety of different issues ranging from infertility, pain management, allergy, cancer and digestive problems.

Q. Describe three recent jobs you've completed.

A. Our licensed acupuncturist recently successfully treated cases involving infertility, pain and IBS. The patients initially sought out Western Medicine without any real resolution. However, after acupuncture/Chinese herbal medicine treatments, the conditions were resolved.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. 1. An acupuncturist licensed by the medicine board of the State
2. Chinese MD working in a province TCM hospital in China for 12 years; Working at different departments (department of internal medicine, department of gynecology and surgical department)
3. Clinical experience over 25 years

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine seem very new to us. Once you try acupuncture, you will be amazed at how well acupuncture works.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. In order to maintain our license, we must complete at least 60 hours of continuing education every 4 years. In addition, we read a lot of traditional Chinese medicine books and articles after work. All of this allows us to give patients the best and most effective treatment.
