Hey there! My name is Jahara Jennaé! I've been a makeup artist since 2011. I am based in Alexandria where I have a studio and full service team. I also have a Richmond studio and team. I absolutely love transforming someone's outer beauty to match their inner. I have a lot of experience with on set photo shoots, weddings, headshots, commercial, editorial, and fashion. Jahara and her team were amazing to work with for my wedding! She did my makeup and hair for 3 events - welcome dinner (more of a natural dewy look) and, wedding ceremony (matte soft glam) and reception (change the hair and makeup touch up). I felt so confident in every look. Her team did gorgeous soft glam looks for my mom, mother in law and 7 bridesmaids as well. A note: I did a makeup trial with her but I realize I really didn’t need to do that because shes so experienced, translates creative direction well.

Jahara was AMAZING. Very professional and easy to work with. We changed my makeup look after our trial and she nailed it. I got so many compliments about my makeup that day. It looked natural, and accentuated my features perfectly. My bridesmaid and Mother of the Bride looked amazing as well. Jahara is a versatile makeup artist capable of achieving any look!
