UPDATE: This update is not to change anything I originally posted but to dispel the artificial things in John's response: 1. I attached a photo of John's text to me not even an hour after I wrote the review. I wish he'd been this communicative the night of my event. More photos attached are: 1 of him telling me to decide what to pay and #2 is my zelle that failed. #3 is my cashapp receipt. 2. I'm offended and not sure why he's saying that he shot all of my event when the time I booked was for clear, 7pm to 12am. Another photo shows the text where I state the video quality is amazing. I don't appreciate my words being mixed around. 3. Attached is a screenshot of the project details that mention the two DJs that I hired to dj my event. 1 of them is my brother. Their Instagrams are @djquickspindmv and @iiino.sound they also had on company shirts (photo attached) and dj'd for most of the night so I don't understand where the lies are coming from. Also attached is a photo of my dancers with company shirts on. Still, instead of genuinely apologizing, lies are told and now antagonizing. Wow, just wow. ---- REVIEW Two hours into my event, I realized I didn't see John so I shot him a text and he responded saying he left because his girlfriend's car broke down. I know videographers can sometimes have a bad reputation but I've never imagined one leaving an event unannounced and being nonchalant about it. It still doesn't make sense to me. I believed we had good rapport and even went over what to capture again before the event began. This was absolutely devastating as this was my brand's first local event so the video content was crucial for future operations. From 9:30 to 12 (70% of my event) no video was captured. I had 2 dj's playing, a combination of dancers and influencers that came in. What also surprised me was the lack of care and respect to communicate with me and to ensure that the 5 hours they were hired for would be still be covered. On top of managing everything during the event, why did I have to contact him to figure out what was going on? His response was that he didn't see me. Myself and other team members had matching shirts. After going back and forth with him and the videographer, the videographer asked me if I had any cellphone footage that she could add to the video. Then they finally said I didn't have to pay, which doesn't solve anything. The cherry on top was them asking me not to leave a review. I'll never have what I need and I now have to make do with the bit he did capture. This experience still saddens me and is extremely unfortunate but I share in hopes to prevent it from happening to someone else.

Big Dog Video Productions's reply
this is the last im going to respone to this , she was not charged anything for the shooting , the editing or the raw footage ...i said i shoot the dance footage and the interviwes i never said i shot the dj and why she wanted to pay 130 i dont know i did not ask her to pay for the raw footage if she did not want to ....she did say the video was amazing as i do good work , yes i had to leave because of wnat happend ...and in the text i said i was sorry a few times about not getting the dj .....at this point the matter is over , she got the video , i did not charge her because i did not have the dj in the video ...and thats it

I put together a huge 24 hour project. I did not know how to make sure this gets out to a national level broadcast. I called him with a very short window. I should of contacted him months prior, but he was able to fit me in his schedule, and he gave me all the specifics, I would need to make this happen. He dedicated his services and his camera for 24 hours. It went viral! I was able to honor so many because of his professionalism, and attention to detail. He was very reasonably priced as well. I could tell he had many years of experience because he was on point and broke it down to my level of understanding. I would recommend him to anyone that needs the experience. All I needed was the vision. The video was perfect, thank gosh I did not use my cell phone for this project. Thank you so much for what you have done for us and for our Nation. - Tim Chambers, The Saluting Marine
