- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I try to schedule a consultation first. I prefer meeting with potential clients whenever possible. I find meeting with them helps them make a sound decision and ensures our expectations are inline.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
15 years of experience. My training and education has been in the field and with industry professionals.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I walked into a landscaping and nursery company near my home, at the time, and asked if they were hiring. I was quickly hired and started out watering sod for the company. At the time I was taking a full load of night classes at NVCC to finish my B.S. in business administration from Ferrum College. I continued my night classes and working for them full time. I moved up to a commercial installation crew, and eventually leader of a small crew. I could have continued to move up, however, I decided to move to Roanoke.
