FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All services are billed by the hour, ranging from $40 to $80 / hour depending the complexity. Most services end up at the $60 / hour rate though. From there we make every effort to estimate the time needed to complete a project, including any viable options. For really large projects we just ensure there is a maximum budget to be set, though we do still bill just for the hours spent and not the maximum unless time has been exceeded. Then we just perform the extra work at no charge.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We first take the time to identify the current state of the site, if any, to ensure we utilize any existing assets. No need to totally reinvent the wheel unless it is desired. This helps us all to also establish the goals of the site moving forward. Once goals are determined we help by suggesting information, methods, and designs to help accomplish these goals. At that point we can typically determine what a reasonable budget should be to meet those goals for approval before proceeding to develop the web site. Once completed, the site is reviewed and approved before any invoicing takes place.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
