Introduction: We first are able to price our projects below the competition after finding the best quality sod for the lowest price available. We work in bulk so the sod farms sell their product to us at a fraction of the cost offered to end consumers. Second, the sod we install is cut from the local fields the day we install it at your home. Finally, we give you complete instructions on the care of your new lawn. We tell you all the do's and don'ts of taking care of new sodded yards. We want and live for your referrals. There is no better advertising than word of mouth.

Scott showed up for the estimate on time and provided a very competitive bid for our 10,000 sq ft sod installation. We had spoken to several sod companies and I just felt most comfortable with Scott. We scheduled the install for two weeks out (Sept 17 2013), Scott and his large crew (8 or 9 guys) showed up at the rescheduled date following a bout of rain and got right to work. I had some what doubted Scott's claim that they would be done in one day, but once I saw the crew at work, I completely understood why they came so well referred. Every member had a task and they flowed across my property. All seemed to uniquely care about their jobs and the result. Even Scott, himself was down laying and cutting the sod. Ultimately, every thing was done even better than I expected. I highly recommend Scott and his Guys for their professional work and attention to detail.

I had a significant erosion problem with all of the recent rainfall and I called Scott's Grass Guys for ideas and an estimate. Not only did he present me with options to correct the issue, he also presented me with labor options to help suit my needs. His team arrived on-time and did quality work. Scott not only followed-up with me after the work, but he also gave me a couple reminder calls to make sure I stayed on top of the newly completed section of my yard. I would not hesitate to recommend Scott's Grass Guys and will be using them again in the near future.

Find out the length of time the company has been operating in the area. This will help the consumer to realize the dependability of the provider. It will also allow the consumer to get reliable references and gauge the amount of experience the provider has. Ask the provider if this is a full time occupation or a part time business. Many small landscape companies are weekend outfits.
