I cook with love and passion something that I think makes your food taste better! I have been cooking since I was 4 years old. I love old recipes that aren't written down by your great-grandmother and new think-outside-the-box choices. I have learned to make older dishes in a new way as well as make them in a healthier way so that everyone can enjoy regardless of their dietary needs.
I take pride in knowing my ingredients are the very best quality. I love how far you can go with food. You can change a person's mood completely with amazing food. I love the way people enjoy food. It makes me want to cook for the reactions. It is relaxing for me; it's almost like my form of mediation.

Everyone at my wedding LOVED all of the food and the mimosa bar! We received so many compliments about the spread that they put on display for us! We are BEYOND happy!

Chef Telly was AMAZING! She helped me put together a buffet for my Mom’s Celebration of Life that included some of Mom’s faves, Dad’s faves, and combined them with some cherished family memories. She kept in touch with me, answered all my questions, and was early the day of the event. Everyone RAVED about her food; I had bought some to-go boxes for folks to take leftovers. The boxes were gone in a flash; our neighbors went home and got their OWN Tupperware and then came back for their share of the leftovers.
Quality, value, professionalism…Chef Telly went above and beyond and made a challenging day much easier for me. I can’t recommend her highly enough. Call her…you won’t be disappointed!

Chef Telly did an amazing job! The food came in hot and smelling so good. Everyone loved the food(fried chicken, fried fish, collard greens and the famous Mac & cheese), some had seconds or took a to go plate!

Received a deliciously home cooked, delivered dinner for thanksgiving. We could enjoy spending time with friends and family instead of cooking and cleaning. Totally worth it. Great value. We got a whole turkey which was full of flavor and not dry. The setup was easy. I forgot to take photos... we dove right in.

My thanksgiving dinner was definitely something to remember. Everything was so good and flavorful. The turkey was well seasoned and juicy. The macaroni and cheese was so cheesy and delicious. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing on Thumbtack is a rough estimation it is not the final amount. A custom menu is created for each client and based on the menu and the items it will determine the final cost. I require a deposit which is nonrefundable. If the deposit is not paid within 5 days the system will autocancel the invoice. Please contact me before the 5 days are up if you are having issues paying the deposit.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The typical process for working with a new customer is setting up a meeting so that I can better understand the vision of the event. From that point they can provide me with the menu for the event or explain what they are wanting and I can create one for them. I would need to know the date of the event and estimation of the number of guest that they are having. This is the meeting where all the magic happens! The goal is to bring their vision to life.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Chef Telly worked as a the restaurant manager under the Hampton Inn for 4 years. Then opened her own business that has been going for 9 years. Able to cater high end events, corporate functions, private parties or functions as drop off or full service. Private chef in home functions can also be catered.
