Tell Jay I called you to go see a job I told you I don't do estimates over the phone on average installs about 600 plus you have a gas a gas water heater we don't know where it is we don't know what it looks like I just a rough estimate I told you I had to see you in person are you going to turn around and give me a one review because I charge you this much and you think with so much money well then go higher some smang Bop on the street fights Rhea $200 that's what you need don't call me back
The contractor asked to leave a message about possibly changing the time for appointment saying that he will call back but did not call until the initially scheduled appointment time. Hence we did not know if he is still coming or not and had to wait, and he did not show up. He did not call even until 3 pm next day, so I had to find another contractor, because we need the job done and there was no indication that DJ is still planning on doing it. Then he finally called me and next texted me blaming that I am rude because I switched to a different contractor. Great job!Apr 14, 2019Verified
Great guys - did exactly what they said they would and more, a bit expensive to me, but I've been out of the market for a while! Will use them again!Oct 28, 2018Verified
Never called to discuss job despite saying he would call. And given over 24 hours, just to make contact. A text, anything to indicate interest in the job. But nothing. UnreliableAug 16, 2018VerifiedDJ Construction's reply

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I like to sit down with the customers to discuss pricing so that we can come to an agreement that fits both our needs. I can work with the customers budget as needed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? After I receive a call from the customer, I will set up an appointment to go out to their home or where the project is and discuss the customers ideas. I try my best to explain in detail all the procedures and go over pricing, this includes how much work it is, the labor involved, what materials are needed. I feel that is the best way in having the customer understand in detail what needs to be accomplished in getting their projects completed. After the project is completed, I will mail you flyers every year so you know who I am and so you can have my information on file for future projects you may want me to do.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I graduated from high school and I been a contractor with my father since I can remember and this is what my passion is.
