I used Cavalier on two projects in October 2025. I found them for the first project (bathroom remediation and reconstruction, new tub, new flooring etc. ) by referral from my plumbing company. I hired them for the second project (replace old carpeting with hardwood flooring) because they did such a good job on the first project. Each project was done on time and on budget and it was high quality work. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

They were extremely professional and efficient. My house flooded, and they responded quickly with the mitigation. They also worked well with my insurance to replace the flooring in the house. The end result looks even better than what was there before. The team is kind, good with pets, and I felt comfortable with them there while I was at work.

Speaking from experience, Ive lived in a ground level condo where the unit above me contained Quest Pipe. I have previously used big chain companies that only cared about satisfying the insurance adjusters. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We price every project independently because all jobs are different. We look at every project thoroughly, take accurate measurements, pictures, etc. and propose the correct products and services for the customer needs. After a clear scope of work is established, we estimate materials, labor, equipment needed, etc, and price each job accordingly. Our pricing is extremely competitive with factory direct products and experienced and efficient labor personnel.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We meet with customers and LISTEN to their needs and desires for the remodeling project. We try to help them clarify the scope of work desired and a realistic budget for the project. We then prepare a detailed proposal based on the discussions. The proposal includes the scope of work, time range to complete the work, and price for the project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Science in Business from Virginia Commonwealth University. I was a manufacturer representative for 13 years and had extensive training. I have owned Cavalier Enterprises, Class A Contractor, for 21 years and have received numerous certifications such as IICRC Water Damage Certification, Army Corp. of Engineers, Lead paint certification, Armstrong World Industries, Shaw Industries, Tarkett, Milliken. and many more.
