Movrite Company is a family-owned moving and junk removal business specializing in furniture moves for apartments, single-family homes, and commercial spaces in Virginia Beach. We own our trucks and provide all necessary moving supplies, including plastic totes instead of cardboard boxes. We deliver these totes to you free of charge and pick them up after your move, helping you pack everything from clothing to frozen foods in strong, waterproof containers.
Our team carefully wraps, packs, boxes, delivers, unpacks, disassembles, and reassembles your furniture. We can also unmount and remount TVs, so when we leave, your furniture is in place and your items are out of the totes (or we return later to collect them with a deposit).

Absolutely amazing experience! All of the guys were super nice and friendly. They showed up on time, got straight to work, handled all of my stuff with care and had good, constant communication. The move was for a storage unit (with a 2 bedroom apartment packed into it) to a 3rd floor apartment with no elevator. They got the job done in under 4 hours, so super efficient and respectful of time. They quoted me at just under 500$ and was well worth every penny. As someone who has moved at least 15 times over 30 years this was probably one of the easiest moves I’ve ever experienced.

These guys are great! They will show up on time with two big guys built like linebackers and act professional to help load/move your belongings from point A to point B. They are aware of their surroundings and are careful with your furniture/items to be moved. They will do the job right and in a reasonable amount of time.

Amazing job, i requested if they could help me move right away and the response was “be there in 9 minutes”. Never had better service! And for such a great price too! Everything left and arrived in perfect condition and offered me a ride to and from where i was dropping things off because my battery to my truck was dead. Very helpful and amazing service! 10/10!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Customers should know all of our pricing on thumbtack is based on the current market average, we aim to cut just below that to provide the best deal possible for everyone. All prices are subject to change, if the job requires additional compensation we will always be upfront about it. If you are considering shed removal their will be an additional deconstruction fee based on the size of the shed.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once you book a service with us we will always message you back on Thumbtack first to confirm and get all the additional information we need. We are Virginia Beach natives, serving our community is nothing new to us. Our family has owned and operated small bussines in this area since the 1950s.
