Tish's Tutoring

Introduction: I am a biomedical engineering graduate of Columbia University and commissioned 2nd Lieutenant in the US Army Reserves. Between these two positions, you'll find that I am a very responsible, punctual, reliable, and trustworthy individual. I am also very kind, patient, upbeat, and understanding. I have several years of tutoring experience and have taken both the SAT and ACT (so I am well accustomed to standardized testing and what to expect). I have provided tutoring for students ranging in age from 4 to 18 and have also conducted SAT, ACT, and SOL test prep. I understand that different students have different methods of learning, and I am the kind of tutor who will try a variety of explanations if the initial methods just don't seem to click. I am able to start immediately and will work with your schedule to meet wherever and as often as you would like. The subjects I am able to provide lessons for are the following: - SAT (all sections) - ACT (all sections) - GED - SOL exams (all grades) - Math (kindergarten - Algebra II)
