FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I prefer to look at all cleaning jobs because they can vary quite a lot. Carpets and windows are easy to quote w/o seeing. As well as new construction clean up. Pressure washing is a lot like the inside of a house. A deck can get neglected pretty bad. It really needs to be seen in person.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I always try out new things at home. Some of the cheapest cleaners work best in many cases. Some times some of the strongest cleaners can stain surfaces. I would much rather damage something at my house where my customers can't see it.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have done it for over 25 yrs. Ever since I got out of school. It was a good way to earn extra money. Back then it was more of a part time thing. I never had any revolving account that I had to return to on a weekly basis. Now it is a full time job.
