This company seemed great when I first met them. Very polite and very professional. But after the work was done, it was a different story. I had hired them to paint two rooms and do some other minor stuff in the house. This was supposed to be a surprise gift for my brother and sister in-law while they were out of town. Instead of the "surprise" of the work being done, they got the "surprise" of the lazyness, carelessness, and damages that had been done in there house while they were gone. In the Master Bathroom, there was nothing taped off or covered with plastic, there was paint splatter all over the bathroom counters, mirrors, and all over the glass for the shower and shower door. They did not take off any of the light switch covers to paint around and when they did the trimming with the paint brush, it was so thick, you would need to do about ten layers with the roller to make it even. You could also see in the pictures the lines from the paint brush around the trimming. The did not tape off the vent or wipe off the dust of the top of the vent, and decided to paint on top of it. Now that dust and dirt is just suck to the vent. And since they decided not to tape anything when painting, there is now paint all over the sides of the cabinets. They had also smack paint on the side of the cabinets in a spot away from where they would even be painting and obviously did not care enough to go back to clean this up. There is also a nice spot where they dropped a amount of paint on the floor and did not bother to clean it up. In the Master Bedroom, also nothing was covered and there was splatter all over the nightstands and all over the hardwood floors. They had told me that if they had found any spots that needed fixing on the walls, they would fix them, nail holes or anything that would need patching. There were two nail holes that I did not know about in the wall, and you can see they just painted over it. There was a spot on the bathroom wall that I did not know was there, and they again just painted over it. Never once brought it to my attention or asked me if they would maybe want it fixed. The only spot they fixed on the wall was the one I physically pointed out to them. I took there word that they would fix anything else I did not see. The project I had here was a very detailed project, but everything had been written out when I started inquiring painters. This company also had come out to the house prior to the day of the job to look over everything. He also wrote everything down and took pictures. So with this kind of attention to detail, you would think that this is the person for the job. Well when my brother and sister in law came home and saw what kind of work was done in the bathroom, they had a fit! So I called the painter to have him come back out, to go over everything with me and the owner of the house. It was complicated to have to work around everyone's schedule, but the first night he was supposed to come out, he calls me an hour before we were going to meet to tell me he was feeling ill. So we scheduled for in another two days. He did the same thing of canceling an hour before hand because he was still in Maryland. I told him I would contact him back to let him know what works best. Both my brother in law and I work full time jobs and cant just drop things. I finally text him and said that I could finally find a weekend to work. He never responced to me about it. Anytime there was any messages between us, there would be a day before I get a responce, some times longer. So now I have spent my money for a butchered job the my brother in law has to spend more money to fix up the problems created.
