We hired MPV Construction for an extensive project that involved removing and replacing siding on all four sides of our house. We were impressed with Max and Yulian from the moment they came out to give us an estimate. They are prompt, careful, and extremely detail-oriented. After receiving a clear estimate, we decided to move forward, though knowing our house, we expected this wouldn’t be an easy job. We could tell that the siding—and what was underneath it—had been “cobbled together” by previous owners in some very strange and difficult-to-fix ways. As the work began, the team uncovered things were even worse than expected. This created all sorts of twists and turns to this project. What we really appreciated was that they consistently brought us out to explain what they were finding, and together we worked to find a path forward. Of course this involved changing the estimate, because the project became much more involved than we all initially thought. However, they were clear and helped us know how much to expect. We were also working within a pretty strict budget. So to help, my husband even worked alongside them one day (he did demo). Some contractors might be annoyed by that, but these guys didn’t seem to mind at all. Importantly for us, they had the skillset to fix all the complex issues that came up: reframing things, replacing a complicated window, repairing a major beam, etc. I should also say we are pretty picky homeowners, liking things done in a very specific way. As with any project, a few things needed adjusting along the way, but Max and Yulian were able to fix what we asked about. Finally, their work ethic is unbelievable—driving from Seattle to Bremerton, starting at 7:30 a.m., and working all day with barely a break. They finished this massive project in under two weeks. We honestly can’t believe how fast and well this project went. We couldn’t recommend MPV Construction more highly, and definitely plan to hire them again.
