Introduction: Since I was very young, my true passion has been to help people on their healing path. In 2007, I unexpectedly felt the energy flowing through my hands and arms, and I could sense energy from others. A Reiki Master from the direct lineage of Master Mikao Usui, the founder of the spiritual and complementary healing process, attuned me that year. Now, as a Reiki Master, my purpose is to clear away energy blockages through energy work so that clients can feel clearer and better able to reach their goals.
Reiki is becoming increasingly popular with the medical community, with over 800 hospitals across the U.S. offering Reiki as a standard part of hospital care. A research study at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut indicates that Reiki improves patients' sleep by 86%, reduces pain by 78%, reduces nausea by 80%, and reduced anxiety during pregnancy by 94%. In addition, nurses report that Reiki helps patients reduce stress and improves mental attitude, improves appetite, and reduces the negative side effects of chemotherapy, radiation, and other medical procedures.
I have had 25+ years of experience working in the healthcare industry as a Licensed & Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant and trained and certified in Neuro-Linguistic Programming in 2011. My career includes working in several settings including nursing homes, hospitals, home health, and rehab centers. I also have 300+ hours of continued education in the healthcare profession.

We live in a fast-paced world, and we are faced with many challenges from every direction. The greatest joy is seeing my clients achieve their heart's desire and be relieved of the stress and anxiety that may hold them back. For thousands of years, both Reiki and meditation have been known to aid in the process of recovery and healing. I believe utilizing the two together is especially empowering.
From working in healthcare facilities for more than 25+ years I believe doing what we can to prevent diseases and illness for ourselves is vital for our quality of life now and in the future. Reiki energy allows muscles to relax and increases blood flow and increases circulation to treated areas, which in turn can the healing process. Clients report a reduction in stress, headaches, insomnia, upset stomach, sprains, and other minor conditions. Reiki also promotes peace of mind, including the release of anger, fear, worry, and sadness.
I also provide Palliative and/or Hospice Reiki services in order for clients to feel relaxed and comfortable energetically and to feel free to transition to the other side of that is the Universal plan. Reiki energy helps lift any feelings of shame and guilt that the person may have felt during his or her lifetime. I am especially aware of not judging the person or situation so the client feels at peace during the session.
