I believe my work stands out because it is genuine. Many photographers rely heavily on poses, additional lighting, studios and/or re-created moments to perfect their images. I believe in capturing real moments as they happen without a lot of gear to weigh me down or make you feel intimidated. I also know that being in front of the camera is rarely easy or natural to most of us so I do my best to help you feel relaxed and at ease, even in a potentially uncomfortable environment! My goal is for you to have fun and enjoy yourself so when you look back at your pictures, you don't think about feeling awkward. We want these to be happy memories, so let's make them exactly that! I love the flexibility that comes with owning my own business. I am a wife and a mother first so this business provides a great opportunity for me to unleash my professional and artistic side, while also giving me some "adult time", as I call it, on the weekends where I'm not wiping boogers or constantly cutting up food! :) I also absolutely love meeting new people and that is a huge part of photography! I thrive in big group settings and have no problem blending into the background to capture moments discreetly but also feel completely comfortable standing on a chair and directing a group of fifty people for a large family photo.
