We absolutely loved working with Manjula and entrusted her to help with the design and coordination a complete remodel of our house. We loved the fact that Manjula strives to provide the best possible quality and experience. Manjula brings in a unique combination of unparalleled design and aesthetic sense, effective project management, planning and coordination. Manjula commands and exceptional team of general contractors, electricians, painters, plumbers, cabinet and countertop guys, structural engineers, landscapers, carpet and blind installers, and demo guys. Manjula coached us on the right materials and designs that would match our tastes while fitting into the large aesthetic theme of the house. We didn't really know what we wanted with the remodel and kept throwing out ideas from houzz and pinterest. Manjula was extremely patient with us as we were discovering what design and material we actually liked. She is very skilled at 3D modeling and applying the desired materials on the proposed structures to get a realistic sense of how the final outcome would look like. We went back and forth multiple times on the kitchen and master bath designs as we kept changing our minds and coming up with ambitious and exotic ideas. Manjula kept us grounded and patiently incorporated all the suggestions into visual models to help us arrive at a design that we eventually fell in love with. Manjula spent countless hours with us to select the tiles, stones, light fixtures, kitchen and bathroom fixtures, cabinetry styles, hardwood floors, etc. Manjula was very accommodating as our plans and schedules changed with two small kids at home. She also made great recommendations for landscaping and plant selections. We were impressed by Manjula's work ethic and integrity. Manjula ensured that we didn’t splurge on unnecessary materials or select ones that didn’t go well with each other. At the same, Manjula made sure that we didn’t compromise on quality and durability. Going above and beyond, Manjula even coordinated minor repair work. Manjula even went out of the way to help us with remodeling recommendations and facilitated visits by contractors even before the house officially closed. We are extremely pleased by the final outcome and absolutely love our brand new home with every single inch redone! Overall, Manjula greatly surpassed our expectations and we highly recommend her as the go to person for any home improvement project. You cannot go wrong working with Manjula.

Manjula has a great eye and is wonderful to work with. She recommended a contractor who is great. We had some unexpected structural issues but she was very flexible and changed the plans with the contractor. I love my new bathroom.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Based on the project requirement, there are two options available. Option#1. Hourly Rate for the following... - Furniture selection, Selecting materials for the bathroom, kitchen and other areas. - A walk thru consultation for designing tips throughout the house - The Space layout designs like floor plans for a kitchen or a bathroom. Option# 2 - A flat fee for the whole project. It will be some percentage of the budget.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I will meet a client at the job site and learn about their requirements. I measure the space and go to the drawing board and give them two best design options. Once an option is selected, I will put more details of that plan. Once the plan is finalized with all the dimensions and the specifications, we can meet a contractor and get a proper bid. I will also help my client to pick the right materials for the job and supervise the work til the end.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a 4yr Degree in Interior Design and have been working on my own with a strong and reliable group of contractors.
