Ruben installed a patio, 100 linear foot fence plus retaining wall, and a few retaining walls for trees that we have next to our patio. He is extremely knowledgeable about everything to do with landscaping from leveling/grading to electrical and sprinkler repair. He is the definition of a “customer first” businessman and gave great recommendations that improved the overall outcome of my project. His work exceeded my expectations in both design and quality. I highly recommend him for your next project - you will not be disappointed!
Details: No, the patio will not be structurally connected to buildings • Residential

I had a brick walkway and wood retaining wall that was due for replacing, and I hired Ruben and his crew to replace it with concrete retaining walls and paving stones. I managed this entire project remotely from start to finish and fully trusted Ruben to do a great job. He gave some good suggestions on the design, got the job done on time, and really improved the structure and look of the walls and the walkway. You can see the before and after pictures. I would highly recommend Ruben for any landscaping project in the future!

I had a great experience with Ruben and his team. Not only is Ruben a skilled craftsman, he's also really committed to client happiness and customer service. He was great at consulting me midway through a project when he was unclear on things I wanted or as things came up. His team works FAST and they were outside in some of the hottest days of Seattle.
The team removed large bushes and did some trimming and landscaping. They also demolished an old, deteriorating deck + patio built DIY by the previous owner. Then they built an arbor, patio in front + back of house and finally, fencing for the front yard so I can build my dream garden and little sanctuary.
I am so excited by the work they did because now we can really build the garden and outdoor areas of our dreams. I look forward to creating a gorgeous garden and hosting friends on our new patio for years to come.
Thanks Ruben!

Patio Remodel or Addition

The quality, workmanship, value, and communication from the Guayito’s team was excellent. The Guayito’s team designed and constructed a paving stone patio that wrapped around three sides of my house. This team knows their profession. Throughout the process, they explained their technique for handling water runoff (very important when adding pavers), communicated up front with project details that I did not consider (like needing to reinforce my retaining wall, and offered aesthetic/functional additions that I did not even consider (like adding wired landscaping lights).
I shopped around for quotes with several larger paving companies before finding the Guayito’s team. The quote from the Guayito’s team was significantly cheaper. Furthermore, they provided me with a detailed plan and execution that not only assured me that they understood my design objectives (something that I found to be lacking from the quotes from the larger companies), but they also valued transparency (I knew what I was paying for and what I was getting).
The before and after pictures speak for themselves, but the bottom line is that I am extremely satisfied with my experience with the Guayito’s team and would not hesitate using them again in the future.

Ruben and his crew did an excellent job helping us redo and make our fixer-upper house livable in the most time and cost effective fashion. He was resourceful and effective getting materials and crew just correct for each job. He is very punctual and communicative unlike any contractor I dealt with in the past.
