I was very pleased with all aspects of my experience hiring Alan for a small job - reinforcing an attic ladder. He responded promptly to the Thumbtack message; clearly communicated by message and in-person. He was able to schedule the job quickly and reached when he had an opening in his schedule to see if he could come complete the job sooner. He is very respectful and professional, wore a mask and taking off shoes upon entry, without us having to ask. He even sent a lovely “Thank You” card to US shortly after the job was complete, which is a nice personal touch. I’ve already recommended him to someone on NextDoor, and wouldn’t hesitate to hire Alan for any future projects that are in his wheelhouse! Thank you, Alan for your help!

Alan was quick to respond, arrived as scheduled, and assisted me with a number of projects I’d been putting off - installation of a new smartlock, security system, a ceiling fan, a dog door, and a new light fixture. He even picked up supplies to complete a couple of the projects. Plus, he was a nice person. Great choice for all kinds of projects!
