The 1 star reviews were correct. I thought may be, it was a 1 time issue or something and I wanted to give this business a chance, but no way. The 2 things I should still appreciate is that 1. The receptionist (Jennifer) is a really good person and definitely tries to help, but she is helpless as well, if their business itself is messed up. The 2nd thing I should appreciate is that, they own up what they don't/can't do and at least they don't play around with your home.
The job at my place was to - Deep clean about 9-10 air ducts , 3 bath ducts , 1 furnace and 1 AC (service & clean ). They also sent me the estimate including all of this, which I approved via Thumbtrack.
So, they sent me contract, estimate, insurance, we had multiple calls, confirmed with them multiple times that my job will be done.
The technician arrived an ~hour before the schedule, he did message me about 10 min before he came, since he came early, I told him I will be a few min late and he had to wait (he was never rude, very polite, professional, said he was licensed, nothing that was strange with him). Then, I came, gave him a tour, he said everything was fine, we agreed that he will setup the vaccum etc. takes about 45 min or so and I can run errands by then, before he begins work, so I left. Not sure what happened, I get a call from the receptionist, saying that technician was not comfortable doing the job (which was in the contract) and left. My house was left open (unlocked). At least I was informed by the receptionist that technician left and house was unlocked. Now, I am left with an un-serviced home and I have to pay extra high prices for someone to get me into the timelines I have.
Considering their bad reviews from the past, I gave them an opportunity and I even said, I will help with in referring/reviewing and sharing cleaning videos etc. as their reviews were bad, but MY TRUST WAS BROKEN. I cannot risk my family's health with this company, especially after the trust is broken. I can technically sue them, with all the information I have, but I choose not to, as it effects their employees/families etc. Instead I recommend this business to relook into what went wrong and how can gain customer trust.
PS : All the good reviews refer mostly to a technician called Tyler, but he no longer works with them and they have a new technician.
Again, people are nice, process was nice, communication was nice, but the execution is what failed.
