My name is Carissa Owens. Through my creativity I am able to live my passion by making others feel like the best versions of themselves. With working in the professional makeup industry since 2009 I have experience in all aspects including bridal, natural, evening/event, high fashion, editorial, gore, and anything else in between. Over the years my artistry has been in Seattle Met Magazine, on Komo 4, New Day Northwest, and Nordstrom Runway Previews.
I love to provide my clients with a luxurious experience by coming to you, making your event stress free and your makeup vision a reality. I truly feel a great sense of honor to be chosen by my clients to make them feel like a celebrity on their special day. Therefore, I ensure that my clients feel relaxed while in my chair and feel more beautiful then they ever envisioned. I look forward to working with you!

Well, I asked Carissa come up the Steven's Pass Ski Resort and do my make-up for my snowboard wedding. I wore a wedding dress and needed makeup and hair that would hold up against snow, wind, and cold as I snowboarded down in my wedding dress. She did amazing! My hair held, all day, which is shocking as I have a lot of hair and it is thick and unruly! My makeup made me feel so good, about myself. I felt like a snow queen and looked like one as well. I am a UPS driver and so NEVER get to feel pretty in mens clothing and sweaty and dirty, it was truly a treat to feel like a queen and look like a woman! My husband was blown away, and so were the guests. It was a unique situation and Carissa adapted and did a wonderful job! I would recommend her to anyone!

I have had Seattle Makeup Artistry do my hair/makeup twice for events, and Carissa is amazing! She is very professional, accommodating and friendly.
