Introduction: Hello! My name is Ryan, and I am delighted to meet you! My purpose as a full-time tutor is to help students develop the educational, professional, and life skills that they will need to thrive in the rapidly changing environments of education and the modern work force. There are so many challenges families are facing with online learning. I experienced many of them when my final quarter of mechanical engineering at the University of Washington was suddenly online, but I was prepared with learning strategies and organizational methods I had developed over the past four years of school. It ended up being the best academic quarter I had in university. Students have a lot they need to be responsible for now that they don't have the daily structure that physically going to school provides, and they often are not prepared well to handle the change. I want to help them develop healthy habits and systems that they can use both in school and in life. I have been a tutor for almost 2 years now, and I love each of my students.
