- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Thailand a project called save the animals. Thailand had a major problem with an uncountable amount of stray dogs and cats running wild in the city. Witch leads to Disease and Horrible health conditions for them and even people. So the program that was run by mostly Americans had fund raising projects and donations that amounted to over 75 thousand U.S. dollars. With that money and land donated by the government we were able to relocate every stray dog and cat found in the city and relocate them to a province with over 3sq miles of land that provided vaccinations and food for these poor unfortunate animals. The program still successful to this day.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I have done several volunteering projects in my life. Including cooking and feeding the homeless and families in need. I believe in even the little things can make a big difference in this world. I also helped pass out daily lunches and sport programs in the summer for the food and parks for kids and teens program here in seattle. The program passed out lunches and snacks at parks were low income families lived, as well as starting up a basketball program for kids to keep them busy and out of trouble. During the summer many low income families that both parents are working and cant afford a sitter so in many cases the would drop the children off at the neighborhood park knowing that some vaulinteers are watching and feeding the children.
