I hired Jose to install a new 200 sqft concrete in my backyard. Jose did a very professional job on my concrete. Finished in two days, high quality. Definitely will hire him again!

Jose and his team were great. The worked very hard on this project, and spent a good amount of time doing the prep work before the concrete was delivered. Jose is very accommodating and friendly. I highly recommend him.

Did a good job. I voiced a couple concerns during and after the job, but they assured me I shouldn't worry. The 1-2 ft tall retaining wall was poured first, looks great. Had some rain for a week or so, and I told them I was fine with waiting until a clear day to proceed with the rest. The slab was poured on a cold afternoon just before we had freezing weather and light snow flurry, which made me a little nervous, but he was determined to get the pour done that day and said not to worry and the concrete would be fine overnight as long as a tarp covered the majority of the slab. They used an additive in the concrete to speed up the initial curing process. Overall, the end result looks good except for a few small (2-3 sq ft) areas where water collects and sits, but he said this was normal and I can fix it if I want by installing a french drain or applying gravel (though I'm not in a rush to go fix something I just had installed). Few minor annoyances toward the end but not a big enough deal to cause a scene or fight over price. Just little things: the nails used for framing were left along the fenceline; a tarp was accidentally buried under a ~6x8 ft section of the ground they had sloped to meet the concrete edge. I dug the tarp up and redid the slope myself; otherwise, nothing would have been able to grow through the tarp in that section. I'm left with a small pickup truck's amount of dirt near the slab that was used in the initial ground sloping but now unnecessary after removing their tarp and resloping (see photo). I reached out to see if he'd haul it away, but he'd have to rent another truck, and I'm not really in the mood to shell out more cash so I'll just move it myself. At the end of the day, it's a 12x16 slab and retaining wall that will be used for an outdoor shed, maybe a smoker. It looks fine. Cost about 6k, in line with other quotes.

Jose removed and replaced my driveway and walkway to front door. My experience working with Jose was excellent start to finish. Once we connected and set up a time to get an estimate, he got me a bid quickly. The price was very good. In this day and age when lead times are weeks/months; he was able to come out quickly and complete the project. The kicker here was that the day he completed pour the concrete (takes a few days to set up) about an hour after he left, a delivery driver stepped right over the caution tape and onto the new walkway leaving footprints! Obviously, very frustrating as I just spent good money on the project. I exchanged messages about if there was anything to be done now that it’s been poured. He came back to my house at 8:30 pm and worked his magic to brush the foot prints out. A true pro. I’ve already recommended him to a neighbor and another person looking for similar work. I will certainly work with Jose again if I need additional concrete work. Thank you Jose!

Jose restored part of the sidewalk which was broken when the city installed a water service for my property. The SDOT put some unexpected requirements including additional concrete for gutter under the asphalt on the street and Jose did everything according to requirements without changing the price. Hi was very responsive and did a great job.
