Summary: Punctual, patient, responsive, EXTREMELY competitive bids, really solid work for value, & flexible schedule. Details: Horacio was great to work with. For an estimate, road closures made me 30 min late to our appointment. He was patient and kind upon our arrival, even though he had another work site to tend to. I had him estimate one job on site for a interior condo remodel (the one I was late to) and one via photos on text. He accepted photos of my patio that needed staining. He is extremely responsive and arguably the most competitive in pricing. If I could have, I would have given him both jobs. I am a fan of supporting small businesses, and I couldn’t give the first job to Horacio because the previous painters I contracted with originally had a family tragedy and cancelled. However, they called and said they wanted the job after all. I decided to give it to them because they were also initially patient with my extremely shifty schedule. For that reason, I decided to give Horacio a different job involving staining my >1000 sqf patio. Again, his estimate is extremely competitive, and overall his work is solid. There were several spots on my patio that the stain failed to penetrate, leaving freshly sanded wood exposed. However, I think with the sunny weather and the shine of the oil stain, it was hard for Horacio and his team to differentiate what was shine and what was incredibly slim wood crevices that weren’t penetrated along the grain. I couldn’t see them upon inspection while the stain was still wet, so I can’t blame him for that. Those were easy patch jobs that took only a 5 min for me to take care of. He still did all the detailing around the stair cases and edges well. I will definitely work with Horacio again. I have a few more painting projects in line in which I intend to reach out to him, but I need stagger them out a bit.

Horacio and his team did incredible work on a tight timeline. Their ability to work within our schedule with fairly short notice helped us get closer to the finish line at the end of a long remodel project. We will hire him again!!
