I did a search for "Guitar lessons near my home" and Guitar Circle popped up. I emailed them asking a few questions which lead me to meet the Owner Jonathon. We spent about an hour, my fault since I was chatty, discussing what I wanted to learn. He then auditioned me which turned out to be very encouraging. He was encouraging. His presence and demeanor were both laid back and professional. So, I'm going to sign up (he doesn't know that yet) and give it a shot. I'll let you know how it goes.

I had returned to the guitar after almost 40 years of absence, and needed help reconstructing what I had enjoyed in the past, as well as what I had never learned. Jonathon's method is somewhat different from other instructors, but is immensely more insightful and provides powerful tools not just for playing a particular song or riff, but for understanding and communicating through music. I have found his lessons fun, challenging, and very rewarding! Highly recommended!

I had zero experience with guitar but that didn't seem to phase Jonathan. He broke it down to the basics and gave me things to work on at home, then bring to class - each week I improved a little bit more. This was such a fulfilling experience especially in times of COVID-19 (which he also offers zoom lesson HOW COOL!) I highly recommend anyone of any age to support Jonathon and his business. Music is such a blessing and the Guitar Circle gave me the opportunity to connect with it even more. MUCH LOVE!

At age 76 I never thought I would be pursuing a 'dream' that I once had when I was 19 years old. I bought this beautiful Gibson Classic guitar and began taking lessons and within a year my life changed dramatically. Sadly this beautiful instrument sat in its case, untouched, all those many years until about 6 months ago. I got this 'flyer' in the mail from The Guitar Circle and after "humming and hawing" for about a month I made the call and talked to Jonathan Olson. One of the best decisions of my life . . . Jonathan is more than just a 'guitar teacher', he is a mentor! He takes a sincere genuine interest in your personal journey and what your aspirations are as a guitarist. He believes in you and encourages you to believe in yourself, as he methodically guides you through a step-by-step process that produces immediate results far beyond your expectations. Prior to finding The Guitar Circle, I tried lessons on and off, but never felt I made progress. I remember leaving many lessons feeling both more confused and frustrated about my guitar playing.
