Fernando and the team were excellent. When they pulled out the old ceramic tile they found that the whole floor subfloor and framing was completely rotted which we were unaware of but they knew exactly how to fix it and even though the scope of work became much wider they were not unreasonable with the cost of the project that was already quoted. They got to work right away and completely replaced the framing and subfloor. They were very fast and efficient and the job with the new Marmoleum flooring came out beautifully. They also replaced the kitchen countertops which required custom cutting a new hole for the sink and disconnecting the faucet. They are very knowledgeable and competent with all of these complexities and really went way above and beyond. Everything was handled fast and efficiently even though there were a few things they didn’t expect. I would enthusiastically recommend this company and their services to anyone who just needs to get the job done right and at a fair price!

We have worked with this company on three different projects over time. The first project was installingflooring in our living room. The second project involved tiling two bathrooms. The third project was upgrading the shower in our master bedroom. The fact that we hired them three times shows that overall we were satisfied with the collaboration.
The quality of the work has been solid. Once a project starts, the work generally moves forward smoothly and according to plan. Communication is usually straightforward, and we appreciated their effort in getting the job done.
However, I would like to share one important experience for future customers. During our first project, we chose to purchase materials ourselves. We changed our minds several times during the buying process, and his partner was very accommodating, helping us make adjustments. However, later on, we were charged additional costs related to the back-and-forth changes. While we understand that changes can require extra time and labor, these additional charges were not clearly communicated upfront. It came as a surprise to us and caused some frustration.
Since then, we’ve learned to clearly confirm pricing details in advance, especially regarding possible additional costs if changes occur during the project. My advice to future clients is to lock in pricing as clearly as possible and ask about any potential extra charges beforehand.
Also, when the team is busy with other projects, scheduling delays can happen, so it’s helpful to plan ahead and allow some buffer time.
Overall, our experience has been positive, and that’s why we chose to work with them multiple times. With clear communication and planning, the collaboration can be smooth and successful. We would still recommend them.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started working for a small family-owned company in North Carolina. The owner took me under his wing and taught me all aspects of floor installation. I loved the work and stayed with the company for nearly five years. I started my own flooring company when I moved to Washington state in 2000. I have over 25 years of flooring installation.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Well, that's where we installed luxury vinyl and carpet, the project took a day's work
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Customers looking to hire a quality flooring expert should consider the experience of the contractor and hire an owner/operator. I don't use subcontractors. I do all the work myself and am knowledgeable in all aspects of flooring installation.
