Fernando and his crew were amazing! My floor needed some extra work to be done right, and he quickly and efficiently took care of any glitches that arose. We have worked with this company on three different projects over time. The first project was installing flooring in our living room. The second project involved tiling two bathrooms. The third project was upgrading the shower in our master bedroom. The fact that we hired them three times shows that overall we were satisfied with the collaboration. The quality of the work has been solid. Once a project starts, the work generally moves forward smoothly and according to plan. Communication is usually straightforward, and we appreciated their effort in getting the job done. However, I would like to share one important experience for future customers. During our first project, we chose to purchase materials ourselves. We changed our minds several times during the buying process, and his partner was very accommodating, helping us make adjustments. However, later on, we were charged additional costs related to the back-and-forth changes. While we understand that changes can require extra time and labor, these additional charges were not clearly communicated upfront. It came as a surprise to us and caused some frustration. Since then, we’ve learned to clearly confirm pricing details in advance, especially regarding possible additional costs if changes occur during the project. My advice to future clients is to lock in pricing as clearly as possible and ask about any potential extra charges beforehand. Also, when the team is busy with other projects, scheduling delays can happen, so it’s helpful to plan ahead and allow some buffer time. Overall, our experience has been positive, and that’s why we chose to work with them multiple times. With clear communication and planning, the collaboration can be smooth and successful. We would still recommend them.

Fernando was very knowledgeable about his craft and accommodating about working around the furniture we had no other way of moving and the chair lift on the stairs. We reached out in mid-October, with the aim of getting our floors done before end of year. It took some working around everyone's schedules, but they got it all done by mid-December. He and his crew ripped up all our old carpet and linoleum, and put down LVP in its place. It looks fantastic, and we're very happy with it. When something unexpected came up (as it _always_ does with a job this big), he was careful to explain to us what the issue was and our options in addressing it.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    I started working for a small family-owned company in North Carolina. The owner took me under his wing and taught me all aspects of floor installation. I loved the work and stayed with the company for nearly five years. I started my own flooring company when I moved to Washington state in 2000. I have over 25 years of flooring installation.

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

    Well, that's where we installed luxury vinyl and carpet, the project took a day's work

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    Customers looking to hire a quality flooring expert should consider the experience of the contractor and hire an owner/operator. I don't use subcontractors. I do all the work myself and am knowledgeable in all aspects of flooring installation.
