Hi! I learned a great deal from Neil, he helped me with my footwork and boxing form. He's very patient and attentive. I recommend him if you're looking either to learn boxing or to get in shape with boxing training. Hell get you in shape and works to avoid triggering injuries, and incorporates your preferences very affably. Hes also good fun which helps a great deal during a long workout.
Joseph is knowledgeable about fitness and knows how to get results in a healthy way. I did a boxing workout with him and he coached me through the process with ease. I had an awesome workout and was REALLY sore the next day! He's fun to train with and will encourage you to do your best.
I've been working with Robert for over a year to improve my fitness through circuit training, boxing, kick boxing, and learning escrima techniques. I've seen great improvement in my power, speed, and footwork. Each session Robert brings a motivational attitude that pushes me forward in fitness yet is attentive to any injury or limitations. He is patient and works with me to design sessions that help strengthen problem joints and muscle groups or speed recovery. He is flexible with scheduling, which is great since mine is always changing. His dedication to health and fitness shows in his own lifestyle and he instills that same ethic in his clients. I didn't take the Karate class but you'll never find a kickboxing class more fun. Don't get me wrong it was tough work but it was fun too. Misha is a very motivating teacher. She keeps you coming back!

In October, 2015, I attended the NoVa Self Defense Fundamentals I course. The course was four sessions over two weeks and totaled about 5.5 hours of training. I attended with the goal of revisiting the fundamentals as I've been at the self-defense game for many years. In short, this was an excellent course and I'd highly recommend it for anyone but especially those with little or no prior knowledge or training. The thing that struck me most about Evan is that he's designed the course to be more than just your standard "punch-kick, he does this-you do that." Sure, you'll learn effective physical techniques, but you'll also spend time learning how to think and avoid a fight as well. For example, you'll cover things such as verbal skills and how a threat might size you up before the attack. All in all, an excellent intro course. Highly recommended.
I have been doing personal training, boxing and kick boxing with Danny. Danny is able to pick up on ones weaknesses and help you work on them and become stronger. He's really awesome and I highly recommend him.
