Introduction: Congratulations! You found someone with over 30 years of accounting experience. My company brings more than bookkeeping and payroll services: - I was the Financial Controller for a large, nation-wide company for 11 years. I reported directly to the CFO. The skills and business acumen learned here allows me to not only be your bookkeeper, but also a trusted business consultant and advisor. - I was a small business owner in downtown Bothell on Main Street for 3 years prior to my Controller job – and of course now I own Accounting Benefit Solutions. I understand and appreciate what it means to be a business owner. Please note that all services are remote and that we do not provide corporate tax services, nor personal finances. However, we do have several CPA's that we recommend.

I am very happy with Accounting Benefit Solutions. Rebecca is smart and knowledgeable. She learns quickly and was able to take over our books without disruption. So far I think this is a much better option than hiring an FTE bookkeeper who maybe doesn't know as much about accounting as one would like. It makes financial sense too. Overall a good choice!

Exceptional job! We were using Excel to track our accounting transactions for the last year and Rebecca set us up in QuickBooks Online, entered our back data and reconciled everything. Our CPA will be happy.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We provide a discount for Thumbtack clients.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I conduct a 30 minute free consultation to determine if your needs and my services are a fit. If so, we will walk through a check-list of questions allowing me to gather enough information to provide a proposal. My proposal will contain two estimates: 1. A one time estimate to catch-up / clean-up your books and make sure all historical data is correct and in 'best practice' format (*If required*). 2. An ongoing monthly fee to support your specific needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and multiple certifications. I take over 60 credits of continuing education a year to stay current.
