Just finally getting around to completing this review. I hired Silena Art for my surprise proposal/engagement shoot in June 2022. Overall, I thought the ‘day of’ experience and her communication was good. She took a ton of photos and was attentive to the proposal and surprise. The issues only came after when receiving the completed portfolio. The editing was poor and in some photos it actually looked like we were photoshopped in. I had hoped to receive the RAW files, but later realized the part of the contract doesn’t include these files and any extra photos were deleted. We plan to redo the engagement shoot for our save the dates and keep these as proposal shots.

Jessica was wonderful to work with and our photos turned out fantastic! My fiance and I needed engagement photos in January. She worked with us to find a great location. She was very flexible and accommodating to our schedule. She gave great direction about placement (where to stand, where to look, ect) because my fiance and I were clueless 😂. And she got all the photos back to us early. I highly recommend!!

Our original wedding photographer who was going to do our engagement photos ended up having to cancel a month before our shoot, and I turned to thumbtack and found Andrea. I’m so glad I did! Andrea was incredibly sweet, professional, and incredibly communicative every step of the way AND was down to come take our photos with only a months notice. Within 48 hours of us getting our photos taken, she gave us an amazing album of photos with offers to do further touch ups on any photos we chose. Due to a medical condition that causes me to take medication that makes my weight fluctuate, I loathe having my photo taken and was dreading having to have photos taken for our save the dates. Andrea was the first photographer who took photos of me that I love and WANT to show people, and she made us feel so comfortable during the shoot. I will definitely be booking her again for photos or for her other many amazing artistic talents!
