Jarrod worked on adjusting the loose hinge in our bathroom glass door and he installed a new glass panel for another bathroom. His work was pretty solid. Jarrod was very good and thorough in his follow-ups from the beginning to the end. He kept his time and his estimates were very close to the final amount. I would strongly recommend him. (In fact I have already given his contact to my friend who wanted some help.)
Enrique has done several jobs for me and I've always been impressed with his quality of work and attention to detail. He's painted the interior & exterior of our 6 bedroom 4200 sq ft home at amazing rates. He also stained the railing system and did an amazing Rustoleum Restore project on the actual deck. We look forward to continue using him for additional projects for years to come. His prices are very reasonable and his crew has always been professional. I'm confident you'll be pleased if you choose him - and believe it or not I don't have any negative feedback!
Did a good job at a very fair price for the most part. However, was unable to get him to come back to finish a couple finishing issues like damaged gutters in the roof removal process and no lip flashing into the gutter that I identified once it started raining. There were several family health issues provided as reasons so I had to get another roofer to finish up some of those finishing touches. However, no leaks were there within the roof iteself and he had to remove 3 layers of prior roofing material which was a lot of work and he did it at a very fair price.
Paul & Kevin from Best Home Improvements did an outstanding job on each of a whole laundry list and wide variety of repair jobs at my home. These were repairs that had become necessary after accumulating over several years. Paul did a very comprehensive and thorough assessment of the condition for each problem item and then a couple days later gave me a detailed and accurate cost quote. Best of all the cost per repair item was very reasonable and competitive. Paul was accommodating to the timeframe I needed to have the repairs done within. The repairs were completed in a very professional and timely manner with great attention to detail. Paul kept me apprised of each major phase of the repairs patiently explaining to me what was done as well as providing very helpful diagnostics and recommendations for any potential issues that surfaced during the repairs. All repairs fully met and even exceeded the quality and specifications in the contract. One good example was Paul going out of his way to track down the closest possible paint to match house paint from many years ago since I no longer had touch up paint. There were a wide variety of repairs needed but Paul & Kevin did an exceptional job on each one. Needless to say I'm very happy with the wonderful job they did, the careful attention to detail with everything done at a cost that was very affordable. With this very positive experience it's most definitely my plan to use Best Home Improvements for all my future handyman/contractor home repair & renovation projects. Byron M.
Terry was absolutely the best. Efficient, knowledgeable, on time, reasonable price, friendly, and did a wonderful job diagnosing the problem and fixing it !!! I will call him with any handyman job I have and I encourage you to do the same! He repaired some plumbing and installed a light fixture. I couldn't be happier! Martha T Issaquah
Hawaiian did a fantastic job with our repair. Robert and team took the time to find the source of our leak and do the job right. The final repair matches perfectly with our 1930's era lathe and plaster ceiling, including settling cracks and character. I strongly recommend Hawaiian!
Our friends referred build and save to us and we are so happy with their work. They painted our house inside and out and remodeled 1 bathroom and partial kitchen. Great quality attention to detail and preparation. We highly refer build n save. Carol
My fiance (now husband. Aw yeah!) and I had been feverishly working our butts off to finish remodeling our front yard. We were hosting a big event in preparation for our upcoming wedding and were quickly running out of time to get it finished. The last piece was to install a 40 foot cedar fence in front of our new yard and needed it to be 3.5 feet high with a gate in the middle. By the time we were able to start building the fence, we had only a week to spare. Starting with our initial conversation with Bryan, he gave us a more than reasonable price and had built us a solid and beautiful fence in 2 days! Both Bryan and his construction partner were professional, personable and took the time to make sure we got what we wanted. We couldn't have gone with a better company to fulfill the job! Planning a wedding and remodeling our house at the same time was stressful enough. Hands On made this piece of our project that could've been a nightmare into a quick and easy solution.
Brian was the painter used by my contractor during an addition to my house, he painted my kitchen twice (I wasn't happy with my first color choice), kitchen cabinets, several ceilings, a bathroom, wardrobe, walk-in closet, bedroom and blended in areas where construction work was done on partial areas of walls. Brian's prep work was wonderful, there was no sign of paint anywhere other than where it belonged, he arrived early each morning and worked into the late afternoon or longer if he wasn't at a stopping point. Brian works very quietly and efficiently. I was so impressed with Brian's work and work ethic that I asked him to return to paint an outdoor deck and porch when the weather permitted. Knowing that I would not be at the house when that happened and not knowing when I would see the finished work I was very comfortable leaving it in his hands. For the outdoor job we had to communicate via email which went very smoothly. I would not hesitate to recommend Brian and would definitely use him for any painting job needed. Also, he was nice to my dog which was another plus.
We had a very good experience with the Reed Painting Company. We needed the interior of our mid-century lathe and plaster house painted, and we needed it done within 2 weeks. It took a few days for us to initially meet, but that is to be expected when you call and want to meet immediately. Randy came by with a portfolio of work the company had done for other clients. He was well-prepared and had additional certification (lead paint removal) that was nice (although there wasn't much removal in our job). He measured the rooms, took note of the various and numerous holes and cracks in our old house, and gave us a bid within 24 hours. He also included a colorist, Sheila, in the deal. Her help was crucial. Randy sent the bid by email, which was nice, as it was quite long. It covered about everything. The crew came in on Monday and was finished by Friday. That's kitchen, living room, dining room, 2 bedrooms, bathroom, entry and hallway. Also kitchen cabinets and doors! They used a lock box so we didn't have to be there to let them in. They started the project when we asked them to, finished on time, and even accommodated us beyond the contract: they removed window coverings, they allowed chimney repair contractors to share the space for an hour, and they met with us on a Sunday for the 'walk through'. Our only complaint was that they rolled on the paint on the kitchen cabinets, instead of using brushes. Maybe that should have been discussed....I assumed they would brush those, so I can't fault them entirely. We would use them again, and may do that soon for the exterior painting.
I am a single mom with two children and I am not real savvy about home repair, and with my busy lifestyle, I really don't have time to teach myself or venture down the DIY path! Dennis has truly been an answer to prayer! I met him at my daughter's school when his granddaughter was in her class. Since then he has one projects from fence repair, to repairing / installing drawer pulls in my house. No project is too big or too small! Dennis is reliable, shows up on time, does quality work for a reasonable and fair price! He is trustworthy and professional.
We chose Bruce from the Thumtack website to finish rehabbing a bathroom. He installed the bathroom cabinet, the sink faucets, repaired damaged wallboard and matched the plaster finish and cut and installed the wallboard and threshold. We especially liked his suggestions, how he improved goofs from previous work, but most of all the perfect results he achieved. We highly recommend hm.
Curtis did a great job refinishing my deck. He was diligent in his work and paid attention to details. I would highly recommend his services.
i am a single mom and home owner i had been saying i need to get my ruff clean and treated because we live were there is a lot of tree's covering our homes when i called on marcus to give me a price not only was the price fair but he was ready to work and said i could pay him when i can i asume with in reason so on my payday i made sure i paid him. . he did such a nice job i did not mind giving a little more and he made sure his job site was clean when he left.
Braveheart construction was amazing to work with the job they did for me was done in a very timely maner. Brandon is very professional and the work is quality work! I would highly recommend and trust this company!
Nick and his team painted the exterior of my home in Kirkland. He was responsive, diligent and did very good work. I found him to be reliable. Anyone who does what they say they're going to do, shows up on time and is polite, gets 5 stars. I highly recommend
Justin came to my house to repair a hole in the ceiling and then paint the entire ceiling if needed. He showed up on time and prepared. It turned out, the whole ceiling did need painting, which Justin did without complaint and within his original bid, which was very reasonable to begin with. Great quality work.
He gave us a whole new house for a reasonable investment. The amazing talents of Matthew have completely transformed our home to look fresh and much more contemporary. As a result, our recent appraisal also reflects a sizable increase in value. He saved us about $25k by painting our kitchen cabinets, rather than replacing them. It looks like a street of dreams kitchen now. He also did drywall repairs for water damage in a couple bathrooms, painted several rooms and extensive painting throughout. Our powder room was completely transformed with Venetian plaster and a very artistic chocolate brown ceiling with a gold sparkly pattern. Additionally, he restored two solid wood exterior architectual doors which would have cost thousands to replace. He’s a true professional and is very conscientious and trustworthy. He also cleans up after himself very nicely. Highly recommend him!
