Derek did high quality work for us in a timely manner. Specifically for our project, he removed the remainder of old knob and tube wiring in our house. He was quick doing the work and communicative as he was progressing. He also went above and beyond to tell us about what he found in our attic (as we are new homeowners) while he was up there. We are confident in Derek’s work and feel much safer with it done.

Totally satisfied. They arrived the next day (on short notice). My circuit breaker blew and would not reset - the one controlling the kitchen range. Besides replacing the breaker (which was truly shot) they diagnosed the source of the problem - the range was shorting out - it sparked after replacing the breaker. Their diagnosis was correct - eventually the whole range had to be replaced but that's Sears' fault - a whole 'nother sad story. In summary - competent electrician who knows his stuff and talked straight. Gotta like that. It was a "small" job but it was a big deal to us.

I have been very happy with the service and price I received from Green Concepts. The kitchen part of my condo lost power over the weekend a couple weeks ago. I made an online request Sunday morning and Green Concepts responded immediately. They scheduled a time for Monday afternoon. Derrick came on time and gave a courteous call before coming. The problem wasn't easy to fix but "finding" the problem was the most challenging part. Derrick specializes in repairs and knows where to look for the issue. Once we determined that the electric panel wasn't the issue, Derrick immediately began on narrowing down where to look for. He found the issue very quickly and fixed it. Lights came back on immediately.
Derrick also has very reasonable rates and actually gave me a discount on the service. His office manager was also prompt and courteous in answering my questions. I was very happy and have recommended Green Concepts to other condo owners in my building!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Each client project is bid on an individual basis, dependent on the type and scope of work. We can provide both hourly and project-based estimates which are free of charge. Some standard projects can be estimated over the phone while complex projects may require a site visit and additional research to provide a more accurate quote.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It's really simple. You fill out the online form or call to set up an appointment. Appointments are scheduled with a two-hour arrival window. The actual appointments will usually only last 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the extent of your project. Our estimator will show up with helpful ideas on the work you are looking to get done, along with information on your current electrical system. We will always provide you with upfront pricing and present it to you within 24 hours. Virtually all work needs permitting. Permits can be pulled onsite by Green Concepts LLC and printed out for your records. Once the work has been done, we will need to schedule an inspection. The homeowner is required to let the inspector in the home on the inspection day. That's it. Contact us today to get started!
