FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge a $149.95 service fee for all estimates/inspections. Wood-burning cleanings are $199.95 each, in addition to the service fee. Gas log sets inside of open fireplaces cost $349.95 each for a cleaning. We are currently offering our Spring Cleaning Discount, where all service fees and cleanings are subject to a discount of 10%.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We always start with what we call a “service call”. This service call covers an in depth level 2 inspection (level 1 is standard in this industry, but we always love to take it to the Next Level!) where we will look at all of the accessible areas of your fireplace and chimney. We then out our findings into a detailed PDF report that we also print out for our customers on site. This report states our recommendations and provides and estimate for these repairs. If a chimney sweep is needed, we can do this same day. Most other repairs and services must first be approved by the customer and scheduled for a future date.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our lead technician has over 23 years experience working with chimneys. All of our employees are either currently certified with the Chimney Safety Institute of America (CSIA) and the National Chimney Sweep Guild (NCSG), or actively completing the pre-requisites to achieve these certifications. We also attend conventions with the Oregon Chimney Sweep Association (OSCA) and the NCSG where we are able to participate in hands on courses with other certified chimney professionals.
