- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I always give a phone estimate so the customer has a good idea of what to expect ahead of scheduling a service call.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I use a simple system that includes initial discussion, an upfront job estimate and a scheduled day, 1) Upon arrival, I perforn a complete walk through where the customer gets to discuss their job. 2) It's at THIS POINT the customer makes his final decision to approve the work to be done. There is no charge if the customer declines for ANY reason.
