FAQs
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When looking for a counselor or coach, make sure this person can understand who you are and how you think, not just what you do. The gifted don't need to start therapy from scratch, they need someone who can follow their rapid and diverse throught processes, who understands their learning style, who can validate what is or isn't typical of the gifted or highly gifted. Most importantly, you should be able to connect with your therapist, trust that they will support and care about YOUR best interests and goals. And most importantly, make sure they understand and appreciate you- what makes you unique and special, so you can optimize what is best about you and what you are capable of contributing to the world.
