We had John for my son's 7th birthday party at our house.
John was very entertaining, both adults and kids alike loved the show. The balloon shapes was fun to watch and it amazed the kids. Loved the amount of choices of balloon shape that he could do. The face painting was a big hit. He actually had to stay a little longer than expected because of the face painting line that just kept on going...he made sure that everyone was happy.
The magic show was so good that even after the show and party was over we were still trying to figure out how he did some of the tricks..
One thing that a few parents would like to see change is the use of his shoe as a prop for the coin trick, lol some thought he could've used a different item, but overall it was great.
Very highly recommended.. Thanks John!!!

We had John come and do a 30 min presentation for two 10 year old boy's birthday party. We had some younger kiddos too. He kept them and the adults all entertained. I couldn't have been more satisfied. The boys loved their transformer balloon men and the other kids loved their personal balloon figures. It beat getting all those goody bags of junk. Loved the octopus you made Josh's mom!

Great! What a fantastic experience. Just came in and did a great job from start to finish. The quality of the face painting was the highest I have seen. The balloons also the best I have seen anywhere. The magic show had the kids transfixed! Thank you JLO. Completely took the pressure off us so that we could also chill out and enjoy the party. We had over 20 kids there from 18 months old to 12yrs.....everyone loved it. Don't hesitate to book them!!!

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes. $100 per hour (per performer) for all services except for magic. Sometimes we are able to provide discounts for multiple hours and/or multiple performers hired. Magic is $250 the first hour and $150 each additional hour. Cotton candy is usually for large corporate events, since it is a commercial-grade machine that's made for high volumes. Cotton candy is $300 for the first three hours and $75 each additional. About 60 bags can be made per hour.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once the client has agreed to a package, I advise them that their party/event is added tentatively to my calendar until the deposit is paid. The booking is not solidly confirmed until then. They can pay the deposit over the phone with me, through PayPal, or by sending a check if the party is at least a couple of weeks away. After the deposit is paid, I send a confirmation email to let them know I have received the deposit and that their party/event is confirmed. I will call them one or two days before the event to reconfirm and see if they have any questions.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
John and I (Ana) are members of many balloon twisting and face painting groups where we share ideas with and learn from others. We also take courses from master twisters and face painters. John takes courses in magic regularly to keep his magic act fresh and new. John and I personally train our employees to be able to twist, face paint, or airbrush all things on our menus.
