FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The more I know about your pet, the better especially if they have any medications and food allergies. Knowing their daily routine is always a plus as well.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a dog wrangler which means supervising and correcting up to 50 dogs at the same time. Also I volunteer for an animal shelter both kennel and cattery. In addition, I have house-sat numerous times. Furthermore, I graduated in Biological Sciences and post graduated in Animal Behavior. I have taken care of wild animals which responsibilities included preparing food, feeding, cleaning cages and introducing environmental enrichment. As for pets, I would walk my dog, provide food/water, clean after him, play (always enjoyable) and do training sessions. I have always enjoyed spending time with my friends' pets too!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always enjoyed being with animals since I was a kid. I knew that I wanted to choose something related to animals career wise and I did. Besides, animal's behavior has always intrigued me. Why have they done this or that? I believe that they do not just act instinctively. Also it is always rewarding to help dogs with behavioral issues.
