Eric arrived early to complete three projects. One entailed a difficult faucet re-installation in a tight area. He was able to correct problems stemminng from past installation errors. Second was to re-anchor a dishwasher. also a problem since it was instaled over tiles that made the undercounter space too tight.again he worked through the problem successfully. the third task was minor and he finished it without a hitch. he worked with thoroughness, efficiency and an ey to detail. he also repaired the gate latch gratis.
John repaired my granite counter top, faucet installation, repaired kitchen sink leak, light fixture installation. Saved me hundreds of dollars. He's the best!!! Will be calling him if I need more work done in the future.
We hired John and Kevin to take out our old kitchen right down to the subflooring and to put in a new kitchen including cabinets, countertops, ceramic tile floor, tile backsplash, range hood with duct work through ceiling and roof, all new appliances with all the associated plumbing and electrical. John and Kevin are a one-stop shop; they know how to do it all and do it to perfection. The only part of the kitchen that they did not do themselves was to install the quartz countertops. That made life simple for us. Moreover, we counted a lot on their experience and expertise in the design of our kitchen, especially the selection of materials. The result was a much better outcome than we would have had otherwise. What we most appreciated about John and Kevin is that they took the opportunity provided by the kitchen remodel to correct longstanding plumbing and electrical problems in the basement below the kitchen, upstairs above, and in the dining/living room. This saved us money (not having to hire someone else for that additional work) and eliminated the need to break into walls outside one kitchen wall. John and Kevin were very attuned to our desires and made suggestions along the way that allowed the project to proceed smoothly, swiftly and keeping costs down. Overall, great job!
Larry was very effective and resourceful on reinstalling our kitchen sink faucet, food processor and drain. He also reinstalled our stove. Neat and fast service. I am rehiring him for other fixes
KBM Northwest came to our house and put in new Crown Moulding, a tile backsplash, a porch remodel, and some other miscellanious finish work. I have never met a contractor that was actually more picky with MY HOUSE than I was. He would take the time to massage a piece of material that I was already 100% satisfied with and work it and work it and work it until it was absolutely perfect to him and he didn't charge me a dime for the difference. It was like he had to sign his name to it for generations to see. I've used countless contractors over the years, and I've never seen anything like it. If anyone can find a better contractor to do a better job at a better price then you have found a sasquatch riding a unicorn carrying a bouquet of four leaf clovers because in my experinece that contractor does not exist. Trust me. I've learned the hardway. KBM Northwest is the best.
Kurt and his crew did an excellent job on my upstairs bedroom and bathroom remodel. I would definitely recommend them to people interested in home remodles
Devin is an outstanding craftsman. We are installing marble tile in our bathroom; but don't have the proper tools or experience to bull-nose the edges ourselves. We hired Devin of DMJ Services. He did an outstanding job and completed the work in 1 day (54 lineal feet). I highly recommend him for bull-nosing tile, and I wouldn't hesitate to hire him for the complete tile job. His craftsmanship is evidence that he has been doing this kind of work for many years. He does exceptional work!
David did a great job on our bathroom. He understood our needs and didn't take short cuts. He had great product knowledge and wasn't intimidated by our desire for epoxy grout on the walls and pebble stone tile floors. He gave great advice and did beautiful work. Totally reliable, trustworthy, and honest.
Dave and his crew spent a month replacing all the windows and exterior doors and upgrading the exterior and interior trim in our 70's rambler. He coordinated drywall, electric and plumbing for our project. Everyone who came to the project site was kind, professional and gracious. Each day Dave and his crew left the job site clean and ready to go for the next work day. Dave was patient with me as I made decisions and dealt with the unexpected surprises that renovations uncover. We look forward to working with Dave next year to upgrade bathrooms, install facia and gutters and upgrade interior moulding and doors.
Brock Builds completed my remodel on schedule with precision craftsmanship. My wife loves the vaulted ceiling with exposed beams and custom stone work around the fireplace. Not to mention the hardwood floors and wrap around deck to the hot tub. Brock is a straight forward knowledgeable contractor with an eye for perfection and design. There is no smoke and mirrors with this guy. Thanks Brock for making our dreams into reality.
Great tile repair, can't tell there was ever a break. Cleaned up after the work.
I finally gave up remodeling my bathroom after some trials and errors, and called 1800FixMyHome, and Jesse and his team came in completed what I started and put in a new sink, a faucet, and tiled the counter tops. They did a great job and I am very happy with their work. It was quick and was cost effective.
DT Construction has completed several projects for me. They are always timely and efficient, and do excellent work. I trust them completely.
Herman and his entire crew at pacific kitchens are outstanding. My company uses pacific kitchens for granite and quartz installation in all of our projects, whether it be new construction, a remodel or distressed home renovation. My clients always rave about Herman. His crews are professional and engaging. Most importantly, their work is always excellent. They are responsive to client needs and always available to solve problems when they arise. Pacific kitchens pricing is fair and competitive and they are always able to source the right product for my clients. I have never been dissatisfied with the quality of Herman's work, nor have I ever had a client complain about Herman or a crew member. My company uses pacific kitchens exclusively for all of our countertop installations. They do fantastic work.
I found Sergio through Thumbtack after struggling to find any handyman services that weren't booked out weeks/months in advance and actually responded to me. I emailed Sergio from the website to initiate the process and from our initial email we began communicating via text message. Sergio came out on a Monday to provide a quote for significant yard work. The yard work included removing tons of overgrown and invasive plants on my grandmother-in-law's Kingston property (think blackberries et al) and removal of some random junk on the property, as well as cutting down of bamboo (grandma's property has a creek running through it and there's more bamboo than the fertile lands of Asia). Sergio reviewed everything we wanted done and quoted it would take about 40 hours with 3 guys to process the work and removal of everything we wanted done. The rate is $25 per hr per worker so the estimate worked out to about 3k. Of course, I'm always expecting unexpected things to come up and I have zero experience hiring someone to do significant yard work like this. Sergio and I agreed to the work via text after receiving the quote. The next Monday morning he and one of his guys showed up promptly at 8am and began hacking away at junipers and blackberry plants on the property with machetes (what. haha.) I live in Seattle so I wasn't easily able to come out and constantly check on their progress. Sergio had one guy with him on Monday and Tuesday-Thursday he had two guys with him. Initially, we planned on them finishing on Friday but something came up and they promptly came (four guys, actually) on Saturday and finished everything off. The actual cost for (approximately) 40 hours with 3 guys was about $3,300 with about $750 in dump run fees (yeah bringing all those trimmings and leaves sure get expensive at the Kitsap dump, I've done it on my own in the past). And then sales tax for his services a couple hundred. Overall, it was about 4k, which was 1k over budget but seeing as $750 was dump run costs and like $350 was sales tax, it totally met my expectations. Sergio and his crew are polite, fast, friendly, and hard working. I'm pleased that we selected Sergio for our yard work. They did a significant amount of yard waste hacking and removal. My grandmother-in-law is very attached to some of the plants so they were very careful about preserving and protecting specific plants (whichever plants so wanted stayed, and the overgrown invasive plants growing on top of them were removed) and Sergio and his crew were clearly professionals at handling these Pacific Northwestern flora. If you're looking for someone who will work hard for you and be very fair, I would recommend emailing, calling, or texting Sergio to bring him out for a quote. Other projects we are about to have done that Sergio may be involved with and stated he and his crew can do, and will quote separately: -power washing and painting her house -grading, levelling, and filling her drive way with rock -aerating and seeding grass and laying sod -placing pavers to create unprecedented walkways -removal of old fences and installation of new fences So in addition to yard and junk waste removal, as well as professionally manicuring her plants, shrubs, and trees, Sergio and his team can do pretty much anything. Contact him for a quote. I highly recommend. :)
we had such a great expirence with Finishing & Flooring . We called them to come out and do some small projects in our kitchen and install our back door . I highly recommend them and Mom and I will continue to hire them for anything I need in the future.
I hired STS granite to complete my Kitchen Countertop project. Serge was really helpful right from the beginning of the project until completion. He asked all the right questions to provide us with an estimate and even came over the weekend to check the layout. The overall project took me 1.5 weeks which was un comparable to other quotes that I received. He is extremely professional and provides you guidance on your vision of dream kitchen. The project was completed on time and I couldn't have asked for better results. From a pricing standpoint, I believe he is quite affordable compared to others around Seattle. I highly recommend hiring STS for your next project.
Dale was very good at putting in my new lighting fixture, which was more complicated than I thought. His price was good, he was very polite and knowledgeable and he took time to get it right. I would call him to see if he was available for any home improvement job I might have in the future. Give him a call. You will be pleased with him and his work.
I'm a general contractor in Lynnwood and have used NW Granite Creations almost exclusively on all my kitchen remodels to date. Paul has great prices and a very fast turn around from templating the job to countertop installation (usually a week to week and a half). He's very prompt on getting back to me and addressing any problems quickly. Can't recommend him enough. Pictured below is some cashmere quartz he installed for me yesterday.
Nathan is awesome. You simply cannot go wrong with him. I found him through Craigslist after a DIY home improvement project went a bit south. He responded to me right away, got out to see my place that night, and started the job the next morning. His professional demeanor, laid-back attitude, and apparent knowledge of all things handyman put me at ease and boy did I need that. I had gathered several quotes and he was the most competitive and the only one would didn't scare me while explaining the work he'd need to do. He was incredibly easy to work with, offered to pick up materials needed if I couldn't do it myself, gave me suggestions as to what should be done, and (this is the most important) reacted with confidence to everything I asked him to do (a few others reacted in that way where they raise their eyebrows, shake their heads, sigh loudly, and then tell me something scary. Nathan did none of that!). He installed floor tiles in my bathroom and kitchen, installed the baseboards, and even noticed that my new granite countertops didn't look quite finished underneath and solved it by adding trim along the bottom of the counter. At the end of the job (which was completed super fast in my humble opinion), the floors looked spectacular but the whole room looked professionally finished which I never would have figure out myself! He cleaned everything up perfectly and, like others had said, it now looks cleaner than it was before. My boyfriend and I also took out our toilet to do the floors and Nathan reinstalled that for us too! He did a terrific job and didn't leave anything to doubt--for instance my toilet was leaking somewhere and he didn't give up until he had figured out why and had stopped it from leaking. I feel so lucky that I found Nathan and will certainly call him again for any manner of home improvement project. THANKS NATE!!
Good price, love my kitchen and bath countertops, best work ever,he is professional and punctual, high recommended and excellent quality
