FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most jobs are quoted at a flat rate based on scope; two-hour minimum for small tasks. Materials are billed at cost with receipts, or we can use owner-supplied materials. No hidden fees—travel fees only apply beyond our standard service area. Written change orders for added work. Discounts are available for repeat customers and bundled projects. Payment by card, cash, or Zelle.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with a clear conversation to understand the customer’s needs and review photos or measurements if available. I provide a straightforward estimate with pricing and timeline so there are no surprises. On the job day, I arrive on time, protect the work area, and complete the project efficiently and cleanly. At the end, I walk the customer through the work, handle any touch-ups if needed, and make sure they are fully satisfied before wrapping up.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have formal technical training in electrical and mechanical basics, as well as years of hands-on experience in construction, remodeling, and repairs. Over time I’ve specialized in painting, drywall, carpentry, and furniture/fixture installation. I continually update my skills by following industry best practices, safety standards, and manufacturer recommendations to ensure reliable and high-quality results.
