Introduction: I work with both digital and large-format cameras in my nature photography. The large-format cameras enable me to capture images with stunning color, tonality, and detail that look beautifully sharp and detailed even in large prints of up to 40x50 inches. My work shows the beauty and majesty of the natural world, as well as the intimate details that many so often overlook. My clients appreciate my careful attention to detail, both during and after the shot. I put considerable effort into getting the shot right in the camera, so as to avoid requiring a lot of post-processing effort. As such, I only polish gems, rather than attempting to repair flawed images after the shot. When necessary, I take advantage of sophisticated techniques, such as HDR and panorama stitching in order to get the best possible shot. I have even made some HDR captures with 4x5 film.
