Mariya is very encouraging to my 9yr old daughter who is a complete violin novice. I love that she finds the good things my child is doing and lets her know. Also, easy to follow, funny, and very talented.Jul 21, 2020Verified
Mariya is knowledgeable, professional, funny, and very accommodating to my needs and goals. I see her 1/week for 30min, and I feel like I leave with progress and goals!Jan 30, 2020VerifiedMariya Ksondzyk's reply
Thank you. Pleasure working with you!
Very happy with violin lessons for my 12 year old daughter. Mariya is clearly comfortable and experienced working with kids this age and she is helping my daughter to be a better player in a focused but non-intimidating environment.Oct 22, 2019
My son enjoys his lessons with Mariya and looks forward to them each week. He feels he has improved a lot since he started with her. Mariya is very easy to work with, and has been accommodating to our schedule. We highly recommend her for music lessons!Oct 12, 2019

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I teach from my home, but I am also able to travel to students' homes for an extra $10 per hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? With every new student, I use the first lesson to get an idea of what their level is, what their musical background is, what their goals are in learning music, and what learning style they have. Based on these factors, I then develop an approach and a curriculum of repertoire and learning tailored to their individual needs. With every new student, I also share a bit about my own background and my approach in order to ensure that we are both on the same page.
